"Sammy" would like to say Thank
You to Glenn Lycan for a fabulous job of handling and congratulates
him on his new post at the AKC.
Sammy started 2002 with a major
league homerun! Invited to the Westminster KC show in New York
city, Sammy won Best of Breed under Judge Mr. Robert J. Caswell,
Jr. He then went on to take Herding Group 1 under Judge Mrs.
Irene Bivin. A great start to the year!
Sammy was awarded Best in Specialty under
Breeder Judge Mrs. Mary Winsome at the Sunshine Specialty in
January. At the Palmetto Specialty in February, he received
an Award of Merit from Breeder Judge Mrs. Donna J. Francis.
In March he won at the North Texas PWCC Specialty where he went
Best in Specialty under Breeder Judge Mrs. Margaret G. Thomas
and at the Ohio Valley PWCC where he won Best in Specialty under
Mrs. Anne H. Bowes.
At the PWCC of Greater Atlanta in April,
Sammy went Best in Specialty under Breeder Judge Mr. Thomas
Mathiesen. In September, at the PWCC National Specialty, he
went Best of Opposite under Breeder Judge Ms. Teresa Maddox.

a Herding Group III at the AKC/Eukanuba National Invitational
Championship under Judge Mrs. Dorothy O. Hutchinson and Best
of Breed under Judge Mrs. Eileen Pimlott.
